The TÜV SÜD Academy and DEUBIM will start new BIM Basic courses from September 2017 onwards. The interdisciplinary and intersectoral seminars provide the essential basic knowledge of the BIM method for design, construction and operation of structures. The course contents are based on the Curriculum of the buildingSMART e.V. and ensure a high and internationally recognized standard of education. In addition, the graduates of the seminar receive a first valid degree, which confirms their basic knowledge of BIM.
The BIM Basic courses include two attendance days and two webinars, which take place with two teaching units before and after the two attandance days. The seminars start from September to December 2017, spread over the four major German cities of Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart and Cologne.
André Pilling, CEO of DEUBIM GmbH: "The digital transformation of the real estate industry has continued to gain momentum. In particular, the BIM method is increasingly becoming the criterion of suitability in the context of competitions and tendering procedures. With the basic courses of the TÜV SÜD Academy and DEUBIM, the students can work out the standards as well as the technical and procedural basic knowledge efficiently and practically. At the same time, this is the first teaching block for BIM Professional. "
The BIM courses are quality-assured by TÜV SÜD. In order to ensure a consistently up-to-date training program, DEUBIM is actively involved in national and international working groups, such as buildingSMART International, buildingSMART Germany, and several BIM working groups of VDI.
